HEY, HOT SHOT! GRAND PRIZE: $10K + GO BIG, GO SOLO!
Jen Bekman and the JBP curatorial team select one photographer annually for the competition's grand prize: $10,000, a full-length solo exhibition and two years of representation from Jen Bekman Gallery. Solo exhibitions at Jen Bekman Gallery have been reviewed by publications like the New Yorker, the New York Times, TIME, the Wall Street Journal, Der Spiegel and Le Monde. And works from these exhibitions are often acquired for important collections, both institutional and private.

HEY, HOT SHOT! GROUP EXHIBITION
A total of ten photographers—five photographers per each of the two rounds of competition—are selected as that year's Hot Shots and are then in the running for our grand prize. The Hot Shots are first invited to participate in a two-week group exhibition at Jen Bekman Gallery in NYC. Each Hot Shot receives a $500 honorarium to put towards travel, framing or any other exhibition-related expenses. Exhibiting artists benefit from extensive opportunities: media exposure, the chance to participate in further group shows and art fairs and opportunities to have their work published in books and/or monographs.

JEN BEKMAN GALLERY
Jen Bekman Gallery has shown the work of hundreds of artists at all stages of their careers since its inaugural exhibition in March of 2003. Many rising stars in the photography world have had critically acclaimed solo debuts at the gallery. Groundbreaking endeavors, including 20x200, round out Jen Bekman Project's commitment to artists.
